I like pose dolls – and quite surprisingly there seems to be a relative abundance of pretty Japanese pose dolls at a flea market that is held twice a year in a village near my hometown.
Last week I purchased my third, and so far the most well-preserved. She still has her tag, even.
I’m still awfully attached to the first, battered, stained kimono doll I found at the same market in 2005, but I just couldn’t resist this one: the little dog (a spitz?) cracks me up.
