I chose Tweedledee & Tweedledum as my design inspiration and this is what we came up with:

I think we didn’t do too bad there. :)
I really must thank my mother for doing most of the work in just about three days.

The set includes:

In the meantime, Team Wererabbit (a.k.a. my mother and I) joined the inspiring Blythe Runway Challenge on Flickr.
Each month 25 creative Blythe people will be assigned a new fashion challenge to complete and submit to a panel of judges.

The February challenge involved redesigning a stock Takara outfit. It was a really clever theme for a first challenge, and a lot of fun to work on and to follow on Flickr as contestants progressed to the finished outfits.

I chose Fruit Punch as my guinea pig.
After all these years, she’s still one of my favorite Takara Blythes. I love her Twiggiesque short bright hair – and I loved her concept too, in sketch, but the actual outfit didn’t live up to expectations.
Poor FruPu, she really didn’t deserve those ugly blue polyester pants!

I wanted her new design to have a fresh, summery feel and a retro late 60s/early 70s vibe.
We gave her two outfits, like stock Fruit Punch had – a trouser suit and a cocktail dress.

Sové Lavi is a nonprofit organization that operates in rural Haiti, providing health care, clean water, education and community improvement projects to the poorest rural areas.

We are really glad to be able to give our small contribution to this worthy cause.
My moher and I put together a little dress set, inspired by Italian doll fashions from the 1960s (I should thank Gaia for getting me addicted to those awesome Furga catalogs).

This is what my mother and I were working on before some family trouble (fortunately happily resolved by now) averted our attention.
This is going to be Blythe-size, but is inspired by another vintage fashion doll line.
A cookie if you guess what!
